Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
You do not. The quoting system gathers gender, date of birth, health level, tobacco history, desired amount, and term preference—six data points generate the rates. Personal names, full addresses, and detailed medical information are requested only if you decide to proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The quotes show what each carrier charges per month for the health level you indicated. After underwriting, the carrier may affirm, upgrade, or downgrade your class, which changes your final payment. These quotes are informational only—they are not insurance offers or price commitments.
What happens when I click Apply?
You give your name, and the application is created from the exact quote you chose, then continues on the carriers' secure application platform. You can stop and resume, and you sign electronically. The application is handled by Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129).
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, the amount and your answers. Carriers marked Immediate coverage can decide right away for eligible applicants; each quote says whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
Ideally, the term spans the years when dependents or your business would suffer financially from your absence: decades of mortgage obligations, children under your roof, company debts. Monthly costs rise with term length but secure rates longer. Use the quote tool to weigh 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options.
Does this site sell my information?
Absolutely not. The quoting engine gathers no contact information, we never sell or share any visitor details, and our measurement avoids cookies entirely. The privacy page lists precisely what is collected and by which party.
